You will probably find an executive coach behind most of the world’s successful leaders for one reason – because it works! Executive coaching is now recognised as a powerful leadership resource and a tool for personal development. If you have goals or challenges in your career or business, coaching will enable you to create new strategies and improve your work skills.
WHEN TO SEEK EXECUTIVE COACHING?
Executives typically seek coaching during:
- times of transition,
- when they are taking up a new position or joining new organisation,
- when they are facing new personal challenges from colleagues within the organisation,
- or addressing difficult issues in their private lives.
Life at the top can be lonely and the higher the executive rises the less frequent and less reliable the feedback from colleagues becomes, because individual agendas conflict. Leaders need, on occasion, someone who can assist them in working through problems and potential solutions and to create a space for thinking in the executive’s demanding working life.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN DURING SESSIONS?
As a starting point, during our sessions we will look at self-awareness. Also, what motivates you? How do others perceive you? Why would anyone want to follow you? Then we move to accountability. Who might find your style, attitudes or values motivating? How can you motivate others? We will also look at where you are right now, where you want to go and what gaps you want to close.
In a series of coaching conversations, we can then explore new strategies for becoming more effective as a leader and hitting your goals faster.

As your executive coach, I will never tell you what to do. When it comes to you and your business, you are the expert. Instead, I offer a creative space where you can develop your own solutions. I will do this by:
- listening to you without bias or judgement,
- asking you powerful questions that will enable you to move forward with your goals,
- reflecting back to you what you cannot see yourself,
- assisting you in generating new ideas and options,
- sharing tips for improving your personal effectiveness.
We will also explore how your mindset may impact your personal effectiveness and improve your emotional intelligence. When you understand how you and others function as individual human beings, the true magic of coaching happens!
